The Park Tool BKD-1.2 Hydraulic Bicycle Brake Bleed Kit - DOT Fluid is designed to bleed most models of DOT fluid-based hydraulic disc brakes, including those made by SRAM, Formula, Hayes, and Hope. Bleeding the hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the braking system, ensuring long-lasting components and peak performance.

Constructed for the rigors of daily commercial use, the BKD-1.2 kit includes two syringes, hoses with shutoff clips, multi-size bleed blocks, and a set of unique mountable syringe holders. It also features multiple hose fittings to accommodate the various standards found in hydraulic bicycle brake systems, including Compression Sleeve, Hope Bleeding Edge-Specific, SRAM Bleeding Edge, M6 x 1.0 (Black) Universal, and M5 x 0.8 (Red) SRAM.

The kit comes with a full set of replacement seals, and every part is replaceable and available from Park Tool. It is housed in a rugged storage case for protection and convenience.

It is important to note that the BKD-1.2 is designed for DOT fluid-based hydraulic bicycle brake systems only. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or in their respective service tools, as cross-contamination of brake fluid may cause seal failure and result in brake failure. For brakes using mineral oil, the Park Tool BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit - Mineral Oil should be used instead.
