For the inkjet waterslide decal paper, it's important to note that the printed image must be sealed with a clear acrylic spray coating after printing. This coating is necessary to seal the ink and prevent the print image from dissolving in water. The clear coating is not required for the laser waterslide decal paper.

If the ink smears after application, it likely means the coating was not sprayed evenly or was not thick enough to protect the ink from water, or the ink did not dry completely before spraying.

The clear and white waterslide decal papers differ in their film color. If you're using the paper on light-colored or clear surfaces, the clear option is a good choice. For dark-colored surfaces, the white paper is recommended.

If the decal film is not easily sliding off the backing sheet, we suggest soaking the paper in water for a little longer, then gently sliding the decal off the backing in the water. It's also helpful to put some water on the surface before applying the decal.

Our waterslide decal papers are not recommended for dishwasher use; we suggest hand-washing only.
